They can have their spontaneous moments but it is usually thought out. No matter how little. This way they aren’t always having a problem to fix

Weaknesses of The INFP-T

Interesting weaknesses of the INFP-T you need to know

1. They Tend To Be People-Pleasers

The INFP-Ts are known for their caring nature but then they become heavily invested in people and this can be a problem. They tend to find it difficult to say no and people take advantage of it.

This makes them people-pleasers as they navigate their lives with others on their shoulders. They then become easily irritated and burnt out.

2. They Struggle With Their Emotions

The INFP-T will struggle with their emotions because they have a plethora of them. It can be a struggle dealing with them, especially when these emotions are negative as it weighs them down.

This can lead them to anxiety and even depression. It is important to find a balance.

3. Overly Self-Critical

The INFP-Ts are very much interested in making others happy but not themselves. To them, others can make a mistake but not them. They are overly self critical which affects their self esteem.

When they aren’t confident in who they are, they remain distant. It is important for them to note that no one is perfect and it’s okay to make mistakes.

4. The INFP-T & Relationships

If you’re dating an INFP-T or looking to, this is for you. Here are important tips you can’t miss.

  1. It is important to take initiative. This personality type is spontaneous but that doesn’t take away from their introversion.
  2. Be good at planning and surprising them with things they want and need. Trust me, they will reciprocate.
  3. They are idealistic in nature so they come with expectations, especially in relationships. They know what they want and what they do not want.
  4. To them, things need to be perfect but that’s not how the world works. So do not pretend to be perfect or it might be difficult keeping up. Show them who you are and let them decide for themselves.
  5. Their love languages are physical touch and quality time. This is a common trait INFPs tend to share and it applies heavily here. They love the attention and intimacy as long as it’s consented to.

INFP-Ta are more compatible with more extroverted partners who are assertive like the ENFJ-A and the ESFJ-A. But remember, they can be of good match to anyone who is willing to work on the relationships.

Work For The INFP-T

For the INFP-T to be the best they can be, it is important to work on themselves. This helps them overcome their weaknesses and sharpen their strengths. They need to understand that people-pleasing never works and it just leaves you neglecting yourself and your goals. Cut it down till you can cut it off.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong in saying “No”. Everyone will be fine and if you can’t do it, you simply can. Beating yourself up about it only makes you suffer. No one is perfect and that includes you. You approach people with compassion, do the same for yourself.
