Who is the INFJ 1w2 and what makes them so special? If you know much about the mbti-verse, you’d already understand that the INFJ is one of the rarest mbti types there is. They are known for their empathetic and sensitive nature, sincere and trustworthy too. In the mbti world, they are already unique as it is. And even more so with different variants.
The INFJ stands for introversion, intuition, feeling and judging. This article gives you a better insight on their strengths, weaknesses and most importantly, what makes them stand out. Let’s begin, shall we?
How Does The INFJ 1w2 Differ From The Stereotypical INFJ?
What makes the INFJ 1w2 so different from the typical INFJ? The typical INFJ is considered sensitive, kind and warm to others. They have an independent nature, they are highly introverted and they have an intuitive mind. Does the change with the 1w2?
The typical INFJ would be more interested in what makes them different and what makes them stand out to others. In most cases it is their love for arts, performing and otherwise, or their love for nature and animals. It is common for most INFJs to fall under this category. But the INFJ 1w2 will be somewhat different.
The INFJ 1w2 will care more about doing what is necessary and what is right. And it isn’t just that but being acknowledged when they do these things. They consider themselves to be unique and morally good and appreciate when this is noticed by others. In fact they want to be noticed by others.
Considering their wing is a type 2, they do care about others and the stronger the wing, the more pronounced this will be. It also brings about an extroverted function (Fe). Making them great at people skills.
Although they like being noticed, it doesn’t take away that they are sweet, kind and generous individuals too. They have a better tendency to be religious due to both their type 1 (leading type) and their type 2 (wing). They also become more judgmental, perfectionistic and morally upright.
Let’s take a look at their strengths and weaknesses
What The Strengths of The INFJ 1w2
1. High Morals & Humanitarian Interests
As mentioned above, this personality type is more inclined to being religious for this reason. They have strong principles that they live by and can be unwavering. They mostly want to do the right thing or at least what they think is right. This makes them reliable individuals.
Due to being type 1s, they want to do the right thing and as type 2s, they care deeply about others and what to help. This makes them more interested in humanitarian work.
2. They Become Perfectionists
The INFJ 1w2 learns more into perfectionism due to being type 1s. They need everything to go smoothly and perfectly at all times. This means they place high standards on themselves and those around them.
It makes them have a good work ethic and shows even more how reliable they can be. You can definitely count on this INFJ.
3. They Are Action-Oriented
The INFJ 1w2 isn’t one for just big talk. They care about action. The typical INFJ spends so much time in their heads, thinking and daydreaming. But this isn’t the case here. The 1w2 makes them more interested in doing.
They want to get things done as soon and best as possible. This doesn’t take away their imagination and need for spending time in their head. It just makes them all the more powerful.
4. They Are Generous
They are type 2s and the stronger their wing, the more generous they can become. This is because the core desire of the type 2 is to be appreciated by other people. And they do not relent in this need.
They will be there for others, devoting their time and resources when necessary. They want to help as much as they can. So when it comes to being there for people, they do not mind.
5. They Want To Make Things Right
If there’s one very admirable characteristic of the INFJ 1w2 is how much they want to make things right. They detest injustice and will see it through till justice is gotten.
It is important to remember their upright morals and a high sense of what is right and wrong.
Weaknesses of The INFJ 1w2
1. Overly Judgmental
This doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise for various reasons. They have a judging function, they have high morals and they care about perfectionism. When your values are overly strong you don’t make room for fret areas, it’s bound to cause you to be overly judgmental and the INFJ 1w2 is not spared.
Life is mostly black and white for they care only for their own values. When they come across others with different beliefs, they do not accept it too readily and resort to judging them rather quickly.
2. People-Pleasers
The INFJ 1w2 can fall into the trap of people-pleasing even at the detriment of themselves. This happens especially when their wing is strong as they will constantly want to make others happy.
This isn’t going to be very pronounced as it would have been if type 2 was their leading wing, thankfully.
3. Overly Self-Critical
The INFJ 1w2 will struggle with anger because of their type 1. This is because it is part of their anger triad. Their anger issues aren’t usually at the world but at themselves instead. This makes them overly self critical. They judge themselves more than anyone else ever could.
They set high standards for themselves that can seem pretty unimaginable to attain. And when they don’t, they beat themselves up about it. This can go as far as affecting their self confidence and driving them down a spiral.
