Who is the INFJ 9w1? If there’s one thing about the INFJ, it’s that they are unique in their own individual way. They bring a lot to the table wherever they are. The INFJ stands for introverted, intuition, feeling and judging. They are a bit of everything especially when paired with an enneagram type.
The INFJ are pretty interesting in nature and they are usually a type 9, 5 and/4. So this makes the INFJ 9w2 an interesting case to talk about. What Makes The INFJ 9w1 Different From Other INFJs?
The INFJ 9w1 will be a little more different from the typical INFJ but not by a lot. Their main difference is their drive and motivation. The INFJ cares more about their creativity and the need to be different. They want to stand out amongst others and also want to maintain internal and external peace. Making them hate conflict of any kind.
They care about those they love and have solid principles in which they live by. They can also be difficult to understand opposing ideas and possess a strong will that is viewed as stubborn. All this is different when the 9w1 comes in.
The INFJ 9w1 are a lot more interested in being mediators. They want to make peace with those around and serve as a middleman in times of conflict. They believe compromises can be made and although this is a trait the INFJ possesses, it is more pronounced with the 9w1.
Let’s take a look at their strengths and weaknesses as well as required growth.
Strength of The INFJ 9w1
1.They Care About Justice
The INFJ 9w1 has a strong sense of Justice because of their wing. They care about doing what’s right and will also demand the same for others. This means they are more likely to fight an oppressor and tend to be drawn to career paths that are related.
It is not uncommon for them to be interested in human rights and law. Any way to stand up for the injustice they see is good enough for them. Because this is due to their wing, the stronger it is, the more pronounced it will be.
2. They Are Mediators
This INFJ is a type 9 and the type 9 is known as the mediators in the enneagram world. This means when it comes to resolving conflict, they will do it well and with understanding of all sides. They want to maintain peace after all.
The INFJ 9w1 are diplomatic in nature and this makes them handle situations a lot more seamlessly. Both at work or anywhere they find themselves, the INFJ 9w1 will be known for their ethical nature. They have high standards and care for the right thing being done at all times.
3. They Have A Lovable & Warm Nature
It is not uncommon for INFJ 9w1 to be loved or respected by those around them. They are INFJs after all and are known for their lovable nature. With them, you feel loved, comfortable and confident.
They might be introverted but this doesn’t make them terrible at social situations. If anything, their warm nature does most of the heavy lifting for them.
4. They Are Empathetic
The INFJ 9w1 are heavy on understanding people’s emotions. They want to be of help anyway they can and are in tune with their environment. This comes as a difference from the typical INFJ who is known to be a lot more self absorbed.
This INFJ will try and will not be afraid to show it.
Weaknesses of The INFJ 9w1
1. People-Pleasing
The INFJ 9w1 will fall into the trap of people-pleasing if they always care about how people feel around them. Because of the need to keep the peace, they might be putting their needs on the shelf.
When they start putting their needs last always, it can make them silently bitter and withdraw. This is never good in the long run.
2. Difficulty With Their Self-Identity
Because they are a type 9, they tend to have a problem with their self identity. Knowing who they are and what they are. They tend to adjust to whoever or whatever is in front of them and this can lead to an internal crisis.
This makes it difficult for them to know where they stand as they change with the tides as they are always searching.
3. They Are Indecisive
Their indecisiveness is due to the fact they want to know all angles of a thing before creating an opinion on it or making a decision. It can make them very slow in making decisions or would avoid it entirely.
They can make it difficult for them when it comes to life changing opportunities as they can either miss them or go for the wrong ones while they wait too long.
Work For The INFJ 9w1
It is important for the INFJ 9w1 to learn and understand the importance of healthy boundaries. Knowing when to say No and learning when to not get involved. It can be a way to not lose yourself in the chaos of it all. Practicing the act of thinking every now and then will help you know what to take on and what to leave behind.
But it doesn’t have to make you indecisive. One of the reasons for your indecisiveness is that you don’t want to let people down and you end up suffering for it. Diplomacy is good but isn’t always the best route.
