1. Creating A Space for Everything

If you’re someone who works remotely, getting a designated work space is very crucial. Working just about any where in your home can leave you prone to distractions. This also applies to everything in your home. Assign specific areas for things like your keys, clothes, jewelry, bills, and bags.

The very last thing you want to do is putting everything in random places as forgetfulness is quite common with ADHD.

2. Incorporate The Use of a Day Planner

A day planner can help keep you grounded by letting you know your next line of action. You only need to be faithful to it and of course update it often. If you can’t, an automatic reminder also goes a long way in helping you so you don’t forget.

Another interesting way of remembering the things around you is by simply creating a list. A list of your tasks, deadlines, appointments, and projects. A list is a great way to ensure nothing skips your mind.

3. Do It Now

It is very important to not leave things for later. Not only would you forget, it’ll aid procrastination and increase your workload which can leave you irritated and impatient. Therefore, not bringing out your best.

If you think of something, do it then. You need to make a call, clean something up, or go grocery shopping? Do it immediately it crosses your mind as long as you aren’t on another task. Pushing it for sometime in the future isn’t advisable and most times these tasks take as little as minutes.
